The opportunity to experience coaching is invaluable. With peer coaching you will put theory into practice, trialing, refining and adapting the coaching skills and techniques you learn throughout your studies. It's also an excellent opportunity to develop networks and friendships that will continue long after you graduate.
- Who is your Peer Coach or Client?
Your peer coaching must be conducted with an ICA Student or Graduate. It provides an opportunity to build coaching skills while also experiencing the coaching process from a client’s perspective. - Peer Coaching can count towards an ICF Credential
Your Peer Your coaching can also count towards the required coaching experience hours for an ICF credential because it happens outside the classroom and is in addition to the core program hours. - Peer Coaching is Pro-Bono coaching
Unlike paid coaching, where money is exchanged in return for coaching services, Peer Coaching is pro bono coaching. This includes reciprocal coaching (where you coach a peer, and they coach you in return) and volunteer coaching (where you coach a peer without expectation they coach you).
